Supreme Tamer

Chapter 106 - 106: Three Years

There was no change of seasons on Prison Island, but in the faraway Nightmare Demon City, heavy snowflakes fluttered down, painting the world in a pure white.

The snow silently fell on the palace roof, and after a moment, it slowly slid off…

In the snow-white courtyard, a slightly gaunt man stood there, allowing the snowflakes to fall on his shoulders. His expression was icy, making him look like a statue encased in ice.

“It’s been three years already, it seems I’ve forgotten something…” After some time, the statue-like Xia Guanghan slowly spoke up, as if he had remembered something.

As Xia Guanghan pondered, he seemed like a statue. After a moment, he slowly opened his eyes and remembered that he had given a highly talented White Nightmare Demon to a potential strong Actor three years ago.

“One out of three thousand lives, I hope they don’t waste my White Nightmare Demon,” Xia Guanghan said slowly.

Afterwards, Xia Guanghan recited a spell and called forth his Winged Rank Tiger.

“Go to Henghai’s Prison Island and bring back the person from three years ago.

If he’s dead, check the nearby islands for the young pet left behind by the Soul Covenant. After three years, it should have undergone its second metamorphosis and barely taken shape,” Xia Guanghan said to his Winged Rank Tiger.

The Winged Rank Tiger exhaled a breath of white air, nodded, and spread its wings, carried away by the chaotic snowstorm. It gradually disappeared into the white sky.

“Lord Xia…” just as the Winged Rank Tiger flew away, a youth approached Xia Guanghan and performed a simple salute.

“What’s the matter, Su Yu?” Xia Guanghan did not turn around, recognizing the youth from his voice alone.

“I want to become the Little Princess’s personal guard, and Xia Lord oversees this matter,” said the man, known as Su Yu, in a low voice.

“You’ll have to earn that position yourself,” Xia Guanghan replied.

“I know that. I just want to learn what happens after becoming the Little Princess’s guard from Lord Xia. The position must be more than just a simple guard duty, right?” Su Yu asked.

“You’re quite confident… But let’s talk about it after you beat all your competitors. Many people want this position, especially those with ulterior motives like you,” Xia Guanghan said with a smile.

“Lord Xia released the Winged Rank Tiger because…” Su Yu stopped before turning and leaving.

“To pick up someone. If he’s still alive, you’ll have another strong competitor,” Xia Guanghan said indifferently.

Su Yu wore a smile, looking completely unconcerned.

While the faraway Nightmare Demon Main City was covered in white snow, the mysterious Prison Island in the Henghai Ocean was still unbearably hot.

Unlike before, the vast ocean surrounding Prison Island no longer surged as violently, and the number of whirlpools had significantly decreased. This unique oceanic cycle around Prison Island led to the formation of a three-year Death Game…

The central mountain range of Prison Island was covered in an incredibly

dense blanket of plants. From a high vantage point, the tree crowns and leaves were connected like a rippling green wave…

“Yi-! Yi-!!

“Chirp chirp chirp!!!”

Suddenly, birds and beasts were startled into flight in the green jungle, screeching in alarm.

This disturbance formed a straight line, constantly spreading in one direction. It was obvious that some powerful creature was running wildly through the jungle without any attempt to conceal itself.

In the shadowy jungle, six magnificent silver ribbon-like objects fluttered, furry and free to move through the green plants, giving an eerie feeling.

The six furry objects were not ribbons, but the tails of an agile and graceful Evil Flame Six-Tailed Demon Fox.

The running Evil Flame Six-Tailed Demon Fox had already grown to over two meters in length in the jungle. Its exaggeratedly long tails only added to its wickedly wild appearance, causing any creature that saw it to keep their distance.

On the back of this elegant and noble soul pet was a youth, with disheveled hair and black eyes.

The youth was striking, with a strong and upright physique, and a similarly wild and devilish temperament as the Evil Flame Six-Tailed Demon Fox.

This fox and man duo were none other than MO Ye and Chu Mu, who had already survived on Prison Island for almost three years.

In those three years, Chu Mu had transformed from a 15-year-old introverted and restrained teenager to a cold and unrestrained youth.

MO Ye had also changed, from a weak and delicate Moonlight Fox to a Fifth-Rank Evil Flame Six-Tailed Demon Fox, capable of carrying its master through the entire jungle.

Of course, MO Ye’s habits remained unchanged. In non-combat times, it still maintained the appearance of a tender and delicate six- tailed fox, lying on its master’s shoulder or snuggling in his arms.

“We’ve traveled so far, I wonder how the little guy is doing. We should go back and check on him,” Chu Mu said.

“Woo woo woo—–”

“Last time we went to see him, he was still in the pupation stage. I have no idea what kind of soul pet he actually is, with such a long pupation time.”

“Woo woo woo!!”

“Haha, if he breaks out of his cocoon, I’ll let you two fight.”

To avoid having wild soul pets hinder their run, MO Ye didn’t try to conceal its aura at all. Now that it had reached the Fifth Rank, Stage 7, it didn’t need to be as cautious as before. In this area without any strong soul pets, no creature would dare to challenge it head-on.

As they sprinted, they left the mountain range behind and crossed the high mountain to reach the original basin forest. Chu Mu remembered that just beyond that forest, through the cave where the Ice-Feathered Spirit had been captured, they would find the little guy’s pupation site.

Last year, when Chu Mu returned here, the entire Ice Falcon Forest had been “contaminated” by the little creature’s pupation. The whole forest was covered in white silk, and all the plants were wrapped in it, looking like a snowy forest.

“Alright, let’s stop here for a moment.” Chu Mu had MO Ye pause for a bit, then jumped off its back and took out the scroll from his Space Ring, burying it directly in the ground.

After burying the scroll, Chu Mu jumped back on MO Ye’s back, and they continued towards the little creature’s pupation site.

By the end of the second year, most of the island’s prisoners had been killed. For the following year, Chu Mu delved deeper into the island, fighting with wild soul pets to hone himself and his soul pets.

Chu Mu had obtained twelve scrolls in total, and he was sure that the Yang family members held the remaining eight.

Of the two remaining members of the Yang family. one was naturally the strongest – Yang Zheng. A year ago, when Chu Mu encountered Yang Zheng, he narrowly escaped with his life, knowing that he was not yet strong enough to confront Yang Zheng. Chu Mu fled decisively and headed deep into the island to completely shake him off.

The three years were almost up, and Chu Mu knew it was time to settle things with those two.. So, when he returned from the depths of the island, he deliberately left scrolls along the way for them to follow his trail, so he could confront them in the end!!
