Damn, I Awakened With A Horror System!

Chapter 35: An Exchange, Real Dragon.

As Leo was contemplating on how to earn another medallion, Roy, the child who was holding the familiar white cat began to approach him from the distance.

Seeing this, Leo has no choice but to stop on his thinking as he changes his usual lazy posture to a formal one.

"Brother, do you want biscuits?" Roy said in his innocent voice as he took out one of the biscuits from his little backpack before handing it to Leo.

"..." Leo.

Does he think that I was a child???

Surprised and not knowing what to do, Leo received the biscuit as he stared at the child and the cat, standing expectantly, waiting for a compliment.

"Ehm, Thank you," Leo said with a smile as he pocketed the biscuit toward his inventory. Although he was originally a ghost, having a physical body requires him to replenish himself in able to fill up his stamina and to function his body perfectly.

After pocketing the goods, Leo notices that the child is still staring at him with hesitation. Confused, Leo couldn\'t help but to ask.

"Do you need any help?"

"Ahm, Brother do you have extra skill scroll? I would like to exchange it for items... It is for the dragon."

"Dragon?" Leo asked in surprise and confusion, he noticed that back then, he didn\'t see any dragon besides the child. He originally thought that the child had not started drawing a dragon yet.

However, based on the child\'s expression, he probably already created a dragon back then... It\'s just that he didn\'t notice it before.

"Hehehe, yes dragon! I have a dragon!" The child slightly pumped up his chest, showing a proud look on his face before retrieving something from his pocket on his blue robe.

Soon, on his little palm, a white snake with white glittering scales and little wings on his back revealed itself toward Leo.

"This!" Leo gasped as he stared at the black reptilian eyes of the snake... "Is not that winged snake?"

Hearing those words, the child revealed a hint of annoyance on his face before retorting.

"Hmmp, sister also said the same, however, this is really a dragon... It\'s just still baby!"

"Hehehe, indeed it\'s a dragon," Leo scratched his chin as he looked at the cute expression of the child before casting his "Soul Scan" toward the white snake on the child\'s palm.

Instantly, upon casting his soul scan, Leo\'s expression turned grim as he cursed inside his mind.

\'F*ck, It is indeed a dragon! Not only that, its strength and stats are much stronger than me when I was still level 1 and 2!"

Massaging his brows for a while, Leo sighed in defeat as he again cast a gaze toward the child.

"Can, I touch it?" He said smiling.

Although he was smiling weakly, deep within him, a hint of excitement could be seen. As if he would be able to accomplish one of his dreams in this lifetime.

\'I felt slightly envious, who would have thought that I would be able to touch a dragon in this lifetime!"

Leo childishly giggles inside his mind as he approaches his right hand toward the small snake excitedly.

However, before his hand could touch the body of the little snake, the snake angrily hissed at Leo\'s hand as it cast its dark ink eyes toward Leo in disdain... As if telling him not to touch it with his dirtied hands.

With a flick of its eyes, the white snake instantly slithers toward the child\'s body, quickly hiding in one of its pockets.

Indeed, it is a dragon.

"Ehmm..." Leo retracts his hand in embarrassment before laughing awkwardly.

Seeing the little dragon hide in his pocket, the child scratches his head before saying to Leo. "Sorry brother, my little dragon is just... Shy."

...

Shaking his head, clearly not holding a grudge toward the little snake, Leo took out three scrolls from his inventory.

The three scrolls are respectively "Build up Stamina", "Sharpened Claws", and "Wisp of Poison".

Since Leo already learned the skills, all the similar scrolls that he got from killing zombies in the past few months go into his inventory. Becoming useless as time passed by.

Although it might become useful to exchange the scrolls for items in the town later. Since the child initiated to trade with his item for his scrolls, Leo has no problem with it.

Besides that, he also has a lot of knuckles in his inventory that he could exchange later if he doesn\'t have any skill scrolls.

"Here, you can choose one of the scrolls for one item."

Excitedly getting the scrolls in the hands of Leo, Roy beamed at Leo before asking the little snake in his pocket to choose from the three scrolls.

Hiss?

"Hehehe, little Dragon, if you want all of them don\'t be shy." The child giggled slightly as he looked at the eyes of the white snake.

After minutes of conversation between the child and the little snake, the snake hissed at the child, causing the child to nod seriously before looking at Leo.

"Brother, we decided to choose the Sharpened claws and Build up Stamina."

Saying those words the child took out a silver sword and a green necklace on his inventory, giving them to Leo in exchange.

Seeing that Leo accepted the items, the child giggled slightly as he took the two scrolls before running in the distance excitedly. On his back, a white cat could be seen strolling toward the running child.

Shaking his head with a smile, Leo looked at the items in his hand in interest, using his soul scan to scan the items.
