Chapter 109: Chapter 93: The VIP?
In the Taichu World, there were shops established by them near every powerful sect.
Just outside the Wuji Dao Sect, within Wuji City, was a branch of the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance, merely a few hundred miles away.
The Wuji Dao Sect had a dedicated Teleportation Array leading to Wuji City, and within just a few moments, Yang Ji arrived outside Wuji City.
He slowly ascended into the sky and peered into the distance, discovering that Wuji City was so vast it seemed boundless, even with his Nascent Soul realm vision, he could not see its end.
Inside, towering buildings rose from the ground, and nearly every street was paved with precious Heavenly Crystal Stones, emanating a faint white light, merging the city with the clouds above, making the entire Wuji City seem like a realm of immortals.
Truly befitting the largest city within the Wuji Dao Sect's domain, the grandeur was extraordinary.
This city prohibited fighting but not flying.
Yang Ji saw many cultivators flying to and fro in the sky among the white clouds, occasionally landing in the city or taking off from within, truly bustling with life.
Because he was a disciple of the Dao Sect, the disciples guarding the city gates nodded to Yang Ji and let him enter.
Strolling inside the city, Yang Ji noticed that all sorts of shops converged here; at a glance, there were cultivators coming and going, indeed, the prosperity was at its extreme.
In the heart of the city, some of the buildings were Dao Devices enlarged to form palaces, truly lavish beyond humanity.
Yang Ji took a brief look and discovered that many of the large buildings displayed information about cultivators in the Fushion Realm and some even had Mahayana cultivators seated within, truly a gathering of dragons and tigers, encompassing all the world's forces.
Underneath the ground, Spirit Veins crisscrossed, locked in place by Formations—an intersection of paths. This was not just any city, but rather a massive cultivation treasure ground, no wonder so many masters were entrenched here.
After looking around, Yang Ji bypassed the smaller shops and, upon inquiring, headed straight for the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance.
Soon, he stopped in front of a very large shop.
This shop occupied a street ten miles long, with a series of palaces connected in a row, carved out of white jade, and inlaid with exotic stones, like an imperial palace, grandiose and magnificent.
Especially the main gate, it resembled the Southern Heavenly Gate, shimmering with Spiritual Light, glittering with treasures, and above it was a couplet.
The first line read, "Magical Treasures and Divine Skills, everything you may wish."
The second line read, "Medicine Pills and materials, nothing is incomplete."
The horizontal inscription read, "All are guests in the Myriad Realms."
The couplet, written in a style as if dragons soared and phoenixes danced, was grand and revealed an underlying dominance and wealth between the Myriad Realms.
At first glance, Yang Ji was attracted, and he couldn't help but think of one word—extravagant.
Just as he was intently looking.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Beams of light fell from the sky from time to time, whether it was disciples of the Dao Sect, independent cultivators, or disciples from other small sects or schools, all landed in front of the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance and then walked in.
Yang Ji looked around and followed them inside.
The interior hall was incredibly spacious with large walls on all four sides, constructed using Light Shadow Stones, just like the display screens of Earth.
Displayed on them were numerous Medicine Pills, Magical Treasures, Talismans, and materials with their respective numbers and prices, a complete assortment of items that truly dazzled the eyes.
Yang Ji glanced around, immediately looking for the items he needed.
However, after looking through everything, he didn't find what he was looking for, as he noticed that the items for sale weren't of very high grade.
He couldn't see any top-tier materials, nor any Great Divine Power techniques, and although there were Spiritual Objects that could improve one's Spiritual Root, only the Spirit Cleansing Pill was available.
This type of Medicine Pill he had taken before, for his current Superior Root Bone, it no longer had any effect.
Upon inquiring, he discovered that this hall was selling some common cultivation resources, targeted at cultivators below the Void Refining realm.
To buy the good stuff, he would need to open a privileged room, where he would then receive personal service and explanations.
Yang Ji exclaimed in understanding, no wonder the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance occupied a ten-mile-long street and built opulent commercial buildings, most of which turned out to be privileged rooms.
After asking, he was astonished to find that opening a privileged room required one hundred thousand Spirit Stones, and Yang Ji was startled at the moment, exclaiming that the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance really knew how to make money.
According to them, the one hundred thousand Spirit Stones were just to avoid overuse of the shop's manpower and resources, after all, too many cultivators just came for a taste and most wouldn't buy.
After all, this was one-on-one exclusive service, a privilege enjoyed by the distinguished.
The tactics of the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance were indeed high, how could ordinary poor cultivators afford to spend one hundred thousand Spirit Stones on a privileged room?
And those cultivators willing to spend the one hundred thousand Spirit Stones were the truly interested customers for those top-tier treasures.
Only then would it be worth providing them with superior service.
Yang Ji glanced around and, despite the pain, still headed towards the "Privileged Reception" in the middle of the hall.
"Senior, would you like to open a privileged room?" A Foundation Establishment female cultivator with a beautiful voice and a sweet smile said to Yang Ji.
"Yes," Yang Ji nodded.
"Seeing that the senior's attire belongs to a disciple of the Wuji Dao Sect, Dao Sect disciples can enjoy a ten percent discount when opening a privileged room," the young girl said, looking at Yang Ji. "However, we still need to see the senior's Dao Sect Command Token to confirm your identity first."
"There's such a benefit?" Yang Ji's expression shifted, and after a moment's thought, he knew it might be a benefit given by the Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance for setting up shops in the territory of the Wuji Dao Sect. As he pondered, he slowly handed over the Talisman Command.
"Yang Ji, senior?" The girl took a glance and suddenly looked up.
"What? Is there a problem?" Yang Ji asked indifferently.
"No problem, no problem," the girl voiced hurriedly, her demeanor suddenly becoming more respectful. "Senior, you are considered a distinguished guest here and can open a privileged room without paying any Spirit Stones."
"Oh?" Yang Ji was genuinely surprised and curious, "I am visiting your Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance for the first time, how come I am already a distinguished guest?"
"I don't know either, but your name is on the list of distinguished guests that the Commerce Alliance provides to us for daily reference. If senior wishes to know the reason, you might find out upon reaching the privileged room. Those above us may tell you."
The girl respectfully returned the Dao Sect Command Token, then took out a gate pass token, giving him a sweet smile and said, "Senior, I have opened privileged room number one hundred and twenty-five for you."
"Senior, this way, please. I will take you to the privileged room," a beautiful maid stepped forward, extending her hand to guide him.
"Interesting," Yang Ji smiled slightly, curious at heart as well, and took the gate pass token, following her up.
"Lord, this Myriad Realms Commerce Alliance really knows the way, Buddha Child likes it," Buddha Child chuckled.
Yang Ji also liked saving one hundred thousand Spirit Stones.
Upon ascending to the loft, the maid quickly led him to the room.
Inside it was antique in style, a Light Shadow Stone in front, Immortal Spirit Tea on the table, the corner lit with mind-soothing incense, elegant and comfortable, and extremely tranquil.
Yang Ji looked around the room and nodded. The maid took the hint and walked out.
He had only sat down for a short while when a heavenly voice wafted in from outside.
"Daoist Yang, sorry to keep you waiting."
At the door, a woman in a long white dress walked in with a smile.
She was extremely beautiful, unrivaled in grace, with a poised and dignified demeanor. Her brows carried a spirit of courage and self-confidence, her eyes clear and intelligent, brimming with wisdom. She was unmistakably a disciple cultivated by a great power.
