Chapter 95: Chapter 95 – What Did I Do?!
Tap tap tap!
Max frantically knocked on Flexy\'s room door and pressed the bell repeatedly after reading Lily\'s message. Of course, it came after messaging Flexy. It wasn\'t even read.
He panicked and didn\'t know what to do. That was why he went to find his friend, the main culprit behind everything and probably the only sober person last night.
Before he could reply to the message, he wanted to know the truth first.
"Flexy! Open the-"
Click!
Just before Max could finish his sentence and punch the door once again, it opened from inside, and a sleepy-looking Flexy with unkempt hair appeared. He was half-naked and rubbed his stomach.
"Ugh... What\'s going on? It\'s still morning, buddy. Don\'t make a commotion... Yawn...-" He asked with a lazy tone and yawned.
"What did I do last night?!" Max raised his voice in panic. His eyes trembled nervously while waiting for an answer.
"Last night?" Flexy raised his eyebrows and scratched his head, "We drank?"
"Yeah, that\'s what I mean." He added, "What did I do while being drunk last night? Did I... Fuck. Just tell me what I did. I couldn\'t remember anything!"
"Ah!" Flexy grinned in realization. He was finally awake enough to process what Max had said, "You did act crazy last night, hahaha. After I gave you that drink, you suddenly pushed me away and did something I never expected you to do."
"What the..."
\'Something he never expected me to do?\' Max thoughts.
Various possibilities flashed in his mind as cold sweat poured from his back. What exactly was something that he would never do in a sober condition?
The worst possibility appeared when he remembered Lily\'s chat.
[Lily: Take responsibility for what you did last night.]
This made him even more nervous as he grabbed Flexy\'s shoulder.
"Tell me in detail. What the fuck did I do?" He asked with fear mixed in his voice.
Watching Max\'s condition, Flexy laughed playfully.
\'It seems that something is bothering him. I wonder what was it? To think he would be this panicked,\' He thought, \'Well, this seems fun. So let\'s tease him a little more.\'
"I wonder what?" He responded, rolling his eyes to look away from Max. "I mean, I can\'t exactly tell you the details in this place. If this is heard by someone else, then it will be bad."
"It will be bad...?" Max muttered, repeating Flexy\'s words. His imagination began to run wild once again. "N-No, I would never do something like that. Just tell me what I did to Lily!"
Putting the piece together, Flexy grinned. He finally understood why Max was panicking.
\'It\'s time to put my acting class to good use! I know what happened, but I don\'t need to tell him the details, no? That won\'t be interesting.\'
His expression suddenly saddened as he looked straight at Max\'s face.
"I don\'t know the details, but... in the middle of the party, you suddenly went with LilyPixel. StoneSword was already drunk and slept at that time, so he didn\'t know about this either." He explained, "I meant... What the heck happened that made you panic like that?"
Max slowly retracted his hands, feeling weak after hearing that explanation.
"N-No, nothing happened." He lied. He knew that it was a bad one, and there was no way that Flexy believed him, "Thanks, though. I need to go right now. See you again."
With that, he walked away and returned to his room, stumbling slightly because his mind was still preoccupied with Lily\'s message and Flexy\'s explanation.
Flexy watched his friend\'s figure disappear into his room before closing the door. Once he did that, he held his stomach and laughed loudly.
"Hahahaha! That was too funny. Damn, I never saw him panic like that! Not even when many barbarians surrounded him. Hahahaha!"
His laugh was so loud that it reverberated in the room. He felt bad for lying to his friend, but that was too funny. And the sense of guilt from watching Max look down from yesterday was gone after seeing his condition this morning.
After a while, Flexy regained his composure and went inside.
"Pfft! Did he think that he pushed that girl down? What made him think like that, I wonder. His face was so pale, hahaha!"
"Ugh... So loud." A new voice that appeared stopped Flexy\'s laughing. From the bed, the head of a beautiful woman with long dark hair appeared from under the blanket, "Can you lower your voice, Marco? It\'s still morning. And I was still tired from everything."
Marco, usually known as Flexy, smiled wryly when he was reprimanded. He approached the bed and sat next to her.
"Sorry, Lisa. But teasing Breeze was just too much fun. That guy actually thought he did the deed with Lily last night."
"Did he?" She asked as she took her glasses from the cabinet on the side, "Well, I wouldn\'t be surprised if he did. He has a handsome face and the skill that can charm young girls. Besides, they are the same age, right?"
"Maybe," Flexy shrugged his shoulders, "But, yeah. They actually didn\'t. Lily was just asking for advice at the party, and Breeze confidently said to leave it to him. She also said that he needed to keep his promise today and stream the new game with her."
"And, where is the problem?" Lisa asked in a soft voice, unlike her usual stern and strict one. "Did you tell him something you shouldn\'t?"
"Hehehe, well..."
Flexy scratched his cheek and told Lisa what happened earlier. His beautiful secretary\'s face turned more sour and had guilt written on it after Flexy finished his story.
"You\'re really evil."
"Hey, I am not! I just helped my new friend get a girl!"
He retorted with an expression that said, \'What are you talking about?\' Then, he leaned closer to Lisa and whispered.
"Besides, you love me this way, no?"
Lisa stayed still for a second before her hand moved at a fast speed, grabbing a certain bulge between Flexy\'s legs. A pained groan escaped his lips as he begged for help.
"Don\'t be overconfident, Flexy." She said with an evil smile that could freeze even hell, "It\'s time to work. And fix the misunderstanding between them before it becomes a scandal."
"Ugghhh..."
"Your answer?" She asked and pushed her glasses up. They shone from the sunlight that passed the curtain.
"Y-Yes, Ma\'am."
Hearing the obedient answer, Lisa smiled in satisfaction, "Good boy."
