Chapter 942 Enlightened Difference

At the start, Rass indeed had his fair share of fun mingling with women from all over the place. As they were sent as brides from noble families, every single one of them was a type of beauty.

So, it was hard to not enjoy the process. Strangely, over time, he didn't know what happened, but Rass began to enjoy the process less and less and treat it more as his duty.

Eventually, a year since it began, he was now just obsessed with it, going about the process like a machine with no feelings attached whatsoever. His life too became a routine that he repeated in a loop.

He woke up at the break of dawn every day and exercised for an hour using his powers, regulating his body condition. Following that, he worked as the Leader of the Royal Sect and gave out administrative orders regarding the various situations that occurred.

This was an exercise of power to ensure the Royal Sect had its reins on everything. With wealth, power, authority, and even legitimacy, the Royal Sect controlled everything.

Moreover, Rass had to control the noble families to ensure they didn't just send their women alone to hoard power. He wished to distribute his seeds as diversely as possible. And hence, he spent the mornings tackling various deals using his subordinates to make arrangements with even the farthest of secluded tribes, leaving none out of his range.

During the afternoon, he would spend on collating data about his powers and making boards inscribed with information about Orchard Tools. Depending on the noble family the bride came from, based on their history, their locality, the speciality of the region, etc. Rass designed Orchard Tools and inscribed information about them on the board.

He then handed them to the bride that arrived in the evening. Following that, they engaged in the act of baby-making until calling it a night. Rass was unsure how it was possible, but he was able to inseminate a woman by the very first intercourse. So, he never had to sleep with someone a second time, hearing news of everyone becoming pregnant successfully.

The morning of the next day, he would get up and send the woman with the items he had prepared for her and would repeat the same as before.

If a noble clan was based around the sea, they would have more interaction with the water. And hence, the Orchard Tools useful for them would be harpoons, boats, diving suits, etc. So, Rass gave them boards inscribed with data regarding such Orchard Tools. The case was the same for every other family located in diverse backgrounds.

Moreover, he also created a batch of Orchard Tools to serve as a family heirloom. This way, it would act as a symbol of reference for them to strive towards. He created them with his utmost power, ensuring they wouldn't become damaged even after centuries of preservation.

Moreover, he also created a seal of authority for each family, something they would come to represent in the future, depicted by the Orchard Tool unique to them.

This way, Rass created diversity and a sense of ownership for every family. And indeed, the noble families were rather content.

"Who's scheduled for today?" Rass asked once he arrived at the meeting hall of the Sect, asking the subordinates that had gathered around. Everyone was full of smiles, having a grand purpose in their lives.

They didn't have to worry about money or authority now and hence were happy.

"It's her highness the first princess." One of the subordinates said nervously.

"Finally…" Rass muttered as he began to prepare accordingly, waiting until it was evening time as a lady oozing the aura of royalty sauntered inside. The air turned sharp the moment she arrived, causing Rass's skin to feel prickly.

"So, you're a Martial Artist." Rass nodded in response, "It makes sense since I never targeted the Royal Family."

"Will you annihilate us now?" The first princess asked, her expression not showing even an ounce of fear.

"Why would I?" Rass roared in laughter as if he heard the funniest joke, confusing her. He approached her and tapped her cheek, "The Royal Family itself would hunt down all Martial Artists in the future. They'll become redundant, after all."

"So, what have you prepared for me?" The first princess asked.

"It seems you are informed about everything, huh." Rass expected this since the Royal Family's authority still remained supreme.

"The power of royalty." Rass said as he condensed a sword casually, causing it to flicker with lightning, "The ability to condense Orchard Tools by compressing the air we inhale, gaining energy for the creation of tools through sunlight, and finally, a vibrant discharge of electricity. Moreover, these tools will never sublimate. Only the royal family will possess this."

He said in mockery, "Compared to this, every other Orchard is vastly inferior."

"So, that was your play." The first princess let out a burst of chirpy laughter, "No wonder I felt something was strange."

Every other family would have to train their Orchards. The Orchard Tools they create would at first just exist for a few seconds before vaporising. They would have to gradually train and raise the duration of its existence before sublimation.

Eventually, they could maintain their Orchard Tools for days at a stretch. But those from royalty would be able to create Orchard Tools that would never sublimate. Moreover, they had the option to make their Orchard Tools sublimate as and when they pleased.

Their abilities were the same as Rass's.

'So, that's how the power balance in the world is maintained. Indeed, it makes sense to understand that only growth-type powers force people to constantly train.' Compass Carburettor nodded in understanding.

As an Orchard Tool was a hydrocarbon creation, it could be anything from a cloth or a soup to massive structures. So, one had to train to master the properties of various tools according to their intended purpose, not to mention train to also make them last longer, all while working on ways to better accumulate fat and carbohydrates in their body without limiting their battle functions.

It would create a world more complex than the old Murim World.

Days turned into months as Compass Carburettor observed the pregnant ladies, watching the growth of the new generation of humans in the wombs, eventually getting enlightened, "I see."

"So that is the difference."
